The conference was attended by representatives of the leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Committee, along with members of the Executive Committee (EC) and members of the Provincial Federation of Labor's Inspection Committee.
At the conference, Permanent Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor Hoang Khac Tinh announced Decision No. 3788/QD-TLD dated June 30, 2025 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on the appointment of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, key positions and Inspection Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor, term 2023 - 2028.
The conference approved draft documents such as the Working Regulations of the Executive Committee, the Standing Committee, the Inspection Committee, the Work Program for the last 6 months of 2025 to continue to collect comments from delegates; especially the draft Project to establish a commune-level Trade Union organization under the Provincial Federation of Labor. This is an important content to expand the trade union network to the grassroots, increase representation and care for the rights of local workers, and increasingly better perform the role and functions of the trade union organization. Thereby, many opinions contributed the enthusiasm and responsibility of the delegates.
On this occasion, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor organized a farewell ceremony for 27 comrades who were former members of the Executive Committee and Inspection Committee of the previous term. The contributions throughout the working process were respectfully acknowledged and sent with thanks, expressing the gratitude of the trade union organization to the cadres who have completed their tasks.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor - acknowledged the contributions of delegates to the draft documents submitted to the conference, emphasizing the tasks that will be focused on implementing in the last 6 months of 2025.
Notable tasks will be coordinating the arrangement of a team of full-time union officials, completing the Project to establish commune and ward-level unions to submit to the Provincial Party Committee for approval; grasping the thoughts and public opinion of union members and workers in the process of arranging the political apparatus, implementing two-level governance; completing the project of 100 "Union Shelters"; developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in qualified enterprises; organizing activities to celebrate the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union; preparing the content of organizing the Provincial Trade Union Congress according to regulations.
Ms. Tuyet Vui expressed her deep gratitude to former members of the Executive Committee and members of the Inspection Committee who have retired and transferred work, calling on the entire provincial trade union system to promote a proactive, innovative and responsible spirit, contributing to practical care for workers and accompanying the development of the province.
At the conference, 100% of the delegates unanimously voted to approve the Resolution of the 1st Executive Committee Conference.
