At the session, the People's Council of Dong Thap province announced Resolution No. 1739/NQ-UBTVQH of the National Assembly Standing Committee appointing Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Heads of Committees of the People's Council of Dong Thap province for the 2021-2026 term. Accordingly, Ms. Chau Thi My Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Dong Thap Provincial Party Committee was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; 2 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial People's Council include: Tran Thanh Nguyen - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and Pham Van Chuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee. At the same time, appoint Phan Thi Kim Nhung as Head of the Legal Department; To Hoang Khuong as Head of the Economic - Budget Department and Doan Duy Thuy Ngan as Head of the Cultural - Social Department.
The session also approved the Submissions on the Plan to organize the 2025 Regular Session of the People's Council of Dong Thap province, term X, 2021 - 2026; established the Committees of the People's Council of Dong Thap province, term 2021 - 2026; established the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the People's Council of Dong Thap province; Proposal to issue a Resolution to establish specialized agencies under the People's Committee of Dong Thap province and Proposal to issue a Resolution approving the project to establish a Dong Thap Provincial Development Investment Fund.
Also at this session, Ms. Chau Thi My Phuong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial People's Council, presented flowers to express gratitude to Mr. Phan Van Thang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the old Dong Thap Provincial People's Council and Mr. Nguyen Huu Loi - Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Tien Giang Provincial People's Council assigned by the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee for new tasks.
