On July 19, the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation said that Vinh Phu Ward Trade Union organized the "Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Officials and Members" Contest in 2026 to celebrate the 97th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026).
The contest attracted 100 contestants who are members of the Executive Committee, grassroots trade union members, representing 247 grassroots trade union officials and 6,964 union members belonging to Vinh Phu Ward Trade Union. A large number of union members and workers came to cheer, creating a lively and exciting atmosphere.
The teams compete in the greeting, knowledge and talent sections. The content focuses on knowledge about the Vietnam Trade Union organization, labor law, Trade Union Law, trade union work skills and nghiệp vụ and handling situations arising in trade union activities.
The highlight of the contest is the application of technology in image and video design introductions in the greeting and knowledge sections, contributing to increasing visuality, vividness and improving the effectiveness of content conveyance.
In addition, singing and dancing performances, folk opera, painting on music and creative performance forms in the talent competition impressed the audience, contributing to spreading the spirit of solidarity and creativity of the team of officials and trade union members.
The program was broadcast live on the fanpage of the Nghe An Provincial Trade Union, attracting more than 7,000 views.
The contest is not only an opportunity for officials and union members to exchange, learn, and improve their knowledge and professional skills, but also contributes to arousing the spirit of responsibility, innovation, and creativity in trade union activities, towards building an increasingly strong trade union organization.
