Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Insurance has just announced a list of units that are late in paying social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance.
Accordingly, there are 108 enterprises with late payments totaling more than 34 billion VND. Topping the list is Quang Son Cement One Member Co., Ltd., with late payments of more than 6.6 billion VND, with a delay from January 2024.
Next is Toan Thang Steel Joint Stock Company, 3 months late with more than 2.7 billion VND. Chien Cong Industrial and Transport Cooperative is 17 months late with more than 2.4 billion VND. Viet Cuong Construction Concrete Company Limited is 1.4 billion VND.
The remaining businesses paid late amounts ranging from several tens of millions of VND to 1 billion VND.
According to the 2024 Social Insurance Law, measures to handle acts of late payment and evasion of social insurance include: Mandatory payment of the full amount of late payment and evasion of social insurance; payment of an amount equal to 0.03%/day calculated on the amount of late payment and evasion of social insurance and unemployment insurance and the number of days of late payment and evasion.
Penalize administrative violations according to the provisions of law; do not consider awarding emulation titles or forms of commendation. Particularly for acts of evading social insurance payments, there are also strong measures to prosecute criminal liability according to the provisions of law.
