On June 15, the Trade Union of Industrial Parks of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province opened the Sports Festival for Workers and Civil Servants in Industrial Parks in 2025.
The sports festival attracted more than 1,000 workers from 45 teams of enterprises operating in industrial parks to participate in and compete in mixed-use and women's tug of war; men's and women's teamwork; men's and women's team rope jumping; individual and team chess.
At the same time, the final round of the 2025 Workers' Football Tournament in Industrial Parks also took place with the enthusiastic participation of many workers and laborers.
At the opening ceremony, the Organizing Committee and delegates presented souvenir flags to the participating teams. Immediately after that, the teams began participating in the team rope dance and chess competition at the Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Union Sports Area (Phu My City).
According to the Organizing Committee, the 2025 Sports Festival and Football Tournament for Workers in Industrial Parks will be held to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025); the 96th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2025).
At the same time, this is also an opportunity for grassroots trade unions to exchange and share experiences; enhance the spirit of physical exercise of workers and civil servants, thereby completing the task of labor production well.
The Organizing Committee will award prizes to individuals and teams with high achievements in the competition events. At the same time, the whole team will be awarded to units participating in all 4 competitions and with high achievements.
