On January 8 and 10, the Trade Union coordinated with the Thanh Dong Ward Public Service Center, Hai Phong City to organize the Sports Tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The event celebrated the 14th National Party Congress, elections to the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels for the 2026-2030 term, and also celebrated the success of the 1st City Trade Union Congress.
Attending the tournament were Mr. Nguyen Van Quyet - Standing Vice Chairman of Hai Phong City Labor Federation; Ms. Ngo Thi Thanh Hoa - Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Dong Ward People's Council; and Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ngoc - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of Thanh Dong Ward People's Committee.
This year's tournament attracted more than 300 athletes from 18 grassroots trade unions in the ward. Athletes competed in 3 sports: football, pickleball and tug of war.
The matches take place with a spirit of solidarity, honesty and nobility. Many attractive matches, good professional quality, beautiful plays appear, showing skillful personal techniques and harmonious coordination between players.
The atmosphere of competition is exciting, serious but full of sportsmanship, creating a unique attraction for the event. The sports tournament is not only a playground for health training but also truly becomes a big festival for union members of Thanh Dong Ward.
