On June 3, the Quang Ngai Provincial Labor Federation said that on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1 and the Action Month for Children in 2026, grassroots Trade Unions in Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks organized visits, encouragement and gifts for children of union members and workers with a total amount of over 3.6 billion VND.
The work of caring for and educating children of union members and workers, especially children in difficult circumstances, is concerned by grassroots trade unions (CĐCS) in Dung Quat Economic Zone and Quang Ngai Industrial Parks.
In recent days, grassroots trade unions have coordinated with professional departments to organize many entertainment activities, visits, and gifts to encourage children of union members and workers.
Typical examples include: Grassroots Trade Union of Hoa Phat Dung Quat Steel Joint Stock Company donated 15,622 gifts with a total amount of over 3 billion VND; Grassroots Trade Union of HD Hyndai Eco Vina Company donated 2,058 gifts with a total amount of over 300 million VND; Grassroots Trade Union of Properwell Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated 1,050 gifts with a total amount of over 200 million VND; Grassroots Trade Union of Whitex Textiles Industries Vietnam Co., Ltd. donated 480 gifts with a total amount of about 72 million VND; Grassroots Trade Union of Thuyen Nguyen Import-Export Trading Co., Ltd. donated 472 gifts with a total amount of nearly 52 million VND...
Through the above activities, the Trade Union has shown its role, responsibility, and concern for union members and workers, and has promptly encouraged children who are children of union members and workers to be obedient and study well so that their parents can feel secure in their work and complete their assigned tasks well.
In addition to organizing entertainment activities and giving gifts to children of union members and workers, some grassroots trade unions have established scholarship funds to commend and award scholarships to children with high academic achievements.
