At Lai Cach Industrial Park (Viet Hoa ward, Hai Phong city), Viet Hoa Ward Trade Union coordinated with Mao Dien Commune Trade Union to organize the "Healthy and Beautiful Footsteps" Collective Running Tournament 2026 with the participation of more than 4,000 union members, officials, civil servants, public employees, workers, armed forces, health workers and foreign workers in the area.
The race is an activity to celebrate the success of the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026-2031; towards the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union, and at the same time responding to the Campaign "All people practice physical exercise following the example of the great Uncle Ho".
Attending the program were leaders of the Hai Phong City Labor Federation; leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, socio-political organizations of Viet Hoa ward and Mao Dien commune; representatives of businesses, units, schools and a large number of union members and association members.
Athletes competed in the 2,500m distance with a spirit of solidarity and excitement, showing spirit, youth and attachment to the Trade Union organization. At the end of the tournament, the Organizing Committee awarded the First, Second, Third, and Consolation prizes along with medals to outstanding athletes.
According to the Organizing Committee, the race not only contributes to promoting the movement of physical training and sports, building the image of "Healthy Hai Phong workers, pioneering in the new era", but also strengthens solidarity and connection between agencies, units and businesses, contributing to building a dynamic, safe, civilized and sustainable working environment.
