In the first 6 months of 2025, the Trade Unions of the Economic Zones of the province have coordinated with relevant agencies to organize inspections of the implementation of labor laws, the Trade Union Law, the Social Insurance Law, the Labor Insurance Law, wages, social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance at 20 enterprises in the area.
100% of administrative units have organized conferences for civil servants and public employees; 60/65 enterprises have organized conferences for employees; 62 enterprises have organized workplace dialogues, reaching 103% of the plan.
Direct the grassroots trade unions to closely coordinate with employers to effectively implement the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month, coordinate the organization of 15 occupational safety and health training sessions for 850 people at grassroots trade union units, and periodic health check-ups for 9005 employees at 55 enterprises.
The Trade Union of Economic Zones of the province directs the Trade Unions to do a good job of taking care of the material and spiritual lives, promptly visiting workers in difficult circumstances, sick and disadvantaged according to the functions and tasks of the Trade Union organization.
In the first 6 months of 2025, the Trade Unions of the Economic Zones of the province mobilized 609 gifts worth 501 million VND to support union members in difficult circumstances; the Trade Unions mobilized and presented 3,858 gifts worth 3.5 billion VND to union members in difficult circumstances at the grassroots level.

Direct trade unions to effectively implement Resolution 7c on the quality of shift meals for workers. The Trade Union of Economic Zones has worked with 22 business units to improve the quality of shift meals for employees from 25,000 VND/meal to 30,000, 35,000, 40,000, 50,000 VND/meal; Up to now, 64 Trade Unions have organized shift meals for employees.
The patriotic emulation movement among union members and employees has been strongly implemented by trade unions at all levels, typically the movement "Good workers, creative workers" with the goal of "Improving productivity, quality, efficiency, ensuring occupational safety and health".
Thereby, many initiatives and technical improvements of workers have been applied to production, resulting in 51 initiatives of employees being applied to benefit the enterprise with 2.2 billion VND, 66 employees were rewarded by the enterprises with a total of 250 million VND for their creative initiative achievements.
At the preliminary review ceremony held recently, the representative of the Ha Tinh Provincial Federation of Labor also announced the implementation of the policy of streamlining the apparatus, which will end the operation of the Trade Union of Ha Tinh Economic Zones, the Trade Union of the Administrative and Career Sector, and transfer the Trade Union under the management of the Provincial Federation of Labor from July 1, 2025.
