On the afternoon of June 18, Mr. Chau Van Ly - Chairman of the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) chaired the 5th Executive Committee Conference (expanded) term XI, 2023-2028) and summarized the activities in the first 6 months of 2025.
At the conference, the An Giang Provincial Federation of Labor announced the dissolution and termination of the activities of 15 Trade Unions at the grassroots level, from June 30, 2025, including: 11 District, Town, City Labor Federations, Education Trade Unions, Health Trade Unions, Civil Servants' Trade Unions and Provincial Industrial Parks Trade Unions. At the same time, it announced and presented the decision to receive 406 grassroots trade unions under the management of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
As Lao Dong reported, in the first 6 months of the year, the Trade Unions at all levels have fulfilled their functions of representing, protecting and caring for the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, workers and laborers. By regularly innovating the content and methods of operation, the Trade Unions at all levels have diversified funding sources, increased care for union members and workers with a total amount of over 200 billion VND... Thereby creating trust and excitement for union members and workers in the Trade Union organization.
On this occasion, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded the "For the cause of building the Trade Union organization" Medal to the Trade Union officials with many contributions; presented the Comprehensive Emulation Flag of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to 4 collectives with outstanding achievements in the emulation movement and building a strong Trade Union organization in 2024;
Certificates of Merit from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded 8 collectives and 18 individuals with achievements in the emulation "Good workers, creative workers".
At the same time, the Provincial Federation of Labor awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in Workers' Month 2025 and 2 collectives and 1 individual with outstanding achievements in implementing the peak month of developing union members and establishing grassroots unions.
