On May 17, Mr. Nguyen Van Manh - Chairman of Bao Loc City Labor Federation informed that the unit had just successfully organized a Football Tournament for union members and workers.
Specifically, this tournament is organized with the content of competing in 5-a-side men's football, according to the current Football Law. The participants are male civil servants, public employees, and workers working in agencies, units, and enterprises in Bao Loc city.
Mr. Manh said that this Football Tournament has been launched by the unit and deployed in all 183 grassroots trade unions with more than 11,000 union members and workers.
In the final round of the Tournament, there were 6 teams competing with more than 100 athletes, along with more than 500 union members and workers enthusiastically cheering.
The Organizing Committee awarded prizes to the teams with outstanding achievements, including 1 First Prize, 1 Second Prize, 2 Third Prizes and 2 Encouragement Prizes. The Saigon - Lam Dong Beer Joint Stock Company Branch Union was honored to receive the First Prize.
According to Mr. Manh, the Football Tournament has created a fun and healthy playground for union members and workers. It is also an encouragement and inspiration for them to continue implementing the campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho"...
