On March 15, Mr. Truong Quang Lang, Chairman of the Da Huoai District Labor Federation, said that the district had organized a badminton tournament for union members and workers.
The tournament was organized by the District Labor Federation in coordination with the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House.
The event aims to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).
The tournament took place from March 12 to 14, attracting more than 200 athletes who are union members and workers from grassroots unions of agencies, units and enterprises in the district. These are all typical core elements of the grassroots sports movement.
More than 100 exciting matches were held in men's singles, women's singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles. "Each match attracts hundreds of union members and workers to watch and cheer enthusiastically," Mr. Lang shared.

Mr. Tran Duc Hai, Director of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Culture House, said that the unit was assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation to organize annual cultural and sports activities.
These programs coordinate with higher-level trade unions to create a healthy playground for union members and workers.
In this tournament, the Provincial Labor Culture House will undertake professional responsibility, develop tournament regulations, and at the same time sponsor all referee training funds, awards and medals.
"The activities not only improve cultural and spiritual life but also encourage physical exercise and sports movements, contributing to improving the health of union members and workers," Mr. Hai emphasized.
