The congress was attended by Mr. Phan Van Anh - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; leaders of Tuyen Quang province; leaders of the Labor Federations of Thai Nguyen, Cao Bang, Phu Tho, Lao Cai provinces; and 148 delegates representing more than 34,000 union members in the province.
Speaking at the congress, Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh affirmed that in the period of 2023 - 2025, the team of workers and laborers in Tuyen Quang province has developed rapidly in both quantity and quality.
"Tuyen Quang Provincial Trade Union has closely followed the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Party Committee, constantly innovating the content and methods of operation and effectively implementing the work of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members, workers and laborers.
In the new context, trade unions must continue to innovate more strongly in terms of organization, content and methods of operation. Clearly affirm its role as an organization representing the legitimate, political and social class of the Vietnamese working class", Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Phan Van Anh emphasized.

First is to focus on developing diverse and effective activities to care for union members' interests; effectively implement the "Welfare for Union Members" Program. Focus on improving the quality of representation, protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers and laborers.
Second is to strongly innovate the content and forms of propaganda and political and ideological education; build a team of workers with strong political will, industrial style, and high skills. Link traditional education with studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Third is to improve the effectiveness of patriotic emulation movements; discover, foster, and replicate good models and good initiatives; focus on key movements launched by the General Confederation and the province.
Fourth is to continue to innovate the organization and improve the quality of trade union activities. Pay attention to developing union members, establishing non-state grassroots unions; increase training and fostering union cadres with courage and intelligence.

At the congress, delegates listened to the Political Report of the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor, term XVII; Report on the synthesis of opinions and recommendations of union members and workers to the Party, State, and Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on issues related to the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers and trade union activities.
The Congress also announced the Decision to appoint the Executive Committee of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Labor Federation, term I, 2025 - 2030, consisting of 21 people; the Standing Committee of the Labor Federation consists of 6 people. Appointed Mr. Trieu Tai Phong to hold the position of Chairman of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Federation of Labor for the 2025 - 2030 term; 3 Vice Chairmen of the Provincial Federation of Labor including Mr. Nguyen Huu Truc, Mr. Ha Van Vy, Mr. Le Hung Manh; the Provincial Federation of Labor's Inspection Commission consists of 7 people; The delegation attending the 14th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor consists of 9 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates.
