On the morning of December 29, the 1st Can Tho City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 entered the second working session.

The Congress convened 300 official delegates, representing nearly 140,000 trade union members of Can Tho City.
On today's working day, the Congress will listen to a summary report on the results of Trade Union activities and the movement of workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD), in the period 2023-2025; orientations, tasks and solutions to promote the CNVCLD movement and the City Trade Union activities in the new term 2025-2030; and a summary report on the opinions and recommendations of union members and CNVCLD to the Party, State, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and Party committees and authorities.
The Congress will also announce decisions to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, Inspection Committee and positions in the Executive Committee, Inspection Committee; appoint delegates to attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031 and vote to approve the Resolution of the 1st Can Tho City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
