The contest and exhibition are meaningful activities, aiming to improve the quality of the Trade Union staff in the new period, while creating opportunities for those working in the Trade Union to demonstrate their mettle, improve knowledge, practice skills and share practical experiences.

The "Excellent Grassroots Trade Union Official" contest took place over 1 day, with the participation of 18 contestants from 10 direct superior trade unions in the whole province. The contestants went through 3 rounds: Greeting; knowledge and situation handling; talent.
In particular, the greeting section is an opportunity for candidates to introduce themselves and their work units, can combine support groups and use creative forms such as skits, singing, dancing, taking in poetry, storytelling, etc.

The knowledge and situation handling contest requires candidates to present basic knowledge about the Trade Union organization, the activities of grassroots Trade Unions (CDCS), as well as legal regulations related to the legitimate and legal rights and obligations of workers.
The talent competition is presented in many diverse forms such as singing, dancing, singing, dancing, storytelling... with the content praising the Party, Uncle Ho, homeland, country and the Trade Union organization.

At the end of the contest, the Organizing Committee awarded Certificates of Merit and bonuses to individuals with high achievements, including 1 First Prize (1.2 million VND), 2 Second Prizes (1 million VND/tournament), 3 Third Prizes (800,000 VND/tournament) and Encouragement Prizes (500,000 VND/tournament).
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Le Tu Binh - Vice President of the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor (FFL) - requested the Jury to score fairly, objectively and accurately; at the same time, encouraged the contestants to promote their talents, solidarity, calmness and confidence to complete their exams well.

"The contest is an opportunity for union officials to exchange, learn, and share experiences, thereby improving the quality of union activities at the grassroots level," said Mr. Binh.
According to Mr. Le Tu Binh, in response to Workers' Month 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many practical activities such as: Workers' Month launching ceremony; Traffic safety law propaganda contest; Trade Union Knowledge Journey game show program; Summary of 10 years of implementing Directive No. 05-CT/TW of the Politburo; peak month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions and introducing and developing party members among workers...

"The contest and exhibition are part of this meaningful series of activities. This is also an opportunity to discover dedicated and dynamic union officials - "extended arms" of the union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers", said Mr. Le Tu Binh.

Vice Chairman of the Labor Federation of Binh Dinh province also emphasized that, in the context of the country that is promoting administrative reform, streamlining the apparatus, improving the efficiency of state management, the trade union organization needs to be stronger. The team of grassroots colleges - the closest force with union members must constantly learn, proactively adapt and promote the role as a solid fulcrum of union members and workers in all circumstances.
