Currently, the whole province has 14 Trade Unions at the grassroots level and 1,673 grassroots Trade Unions (CDCS), including 1,007 Trade Unions in the administrative and career sector and 596 Trade Unions in the production and business sector. The total number of union members is more than 94,800 people and more than 107,900 workers.
In recent years, the patriotic emulation movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers (CNVCLD) and the reward work of the Provincial Trade Union have had many positive changes.
The Provincial Federation of Labor (PFF) has synchronously deployed emulation launching solutions with specific and practical topics and contents; organized the signing of cluster emulation agreements; supplemented and amended the Emulation - Reward Regulations in accordance with current legal regulations.
The Provincial Federation of Labor also improves the effectiveness of emulation clusters, ensuring the work of selecting and rewarding the right people, the right jobs, publicly and transparently; organizing preliminary reviews and summarizing periodic emulation movements; focusing on rewarding workers who directly produce and propagate, replicating advanced models and typical examples.
The emulation movements launched by the Trade Union have attracted a large number of union members and workers to participate. The "Good workers, Creative workers" movement continues to promote its core role; many thematic movements have been effectively implemented such as "Green - Clean - Beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene"; building "Good families of employees in the country, good at housework" movement among female employees; "Innovation, creativity, and efficiency in the activities of the Trade Union organization".
In particular, in the context of CIVI -19 pandemic, the trade union levels in the province have actively responded to the movement "CNVCLD tries to overcome difficulties, creativity, determination to victory of CIVI -19 pandemic" associated with the program "75 thousand initiatives to overcome difficulties, develop" and the program "One million initiatives", complete beyond the assigned targets, accompany with all levels, sectors, social forces to successfully develop the defense, just to develop the defense, to the defense of the socio -economic development.
Through emulation movements, the sense of responsibility, creativity and the ability to overcome difficulties of union members and workers are strongly promoted.
In the past 5 years, the whole province has had more than 12,200 initiatives, solutions, and technical improvements applied to production and work practices, bringing economic efficiency of more than 155 billion VND. There are 183 creative labor topics registered from Trade Unions at all levels, of which 66 topics are considered for the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor. The whole province also has 3 registered projects to celebrate important political events and the 14th Provincial Trade Union Congress.
In the period of 2015-2020, the provincial Labor Federation held an advanced typical conference, praising 67 collectives and 246 typical individuals. Trade Union levels have coordinated with agencies, units and businesses to praise more than 600 typical workers in the launching ceremony of the month of workers; Praise 90 presidents of typical junior grassroots grassroots level on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam Trade Union.
Emulation and reward work has contributed to affirming the role and position of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate rights of workers, while contributing to the effective implementation of the socio-economic development goals of Binh Dinh province over the past half century.
