Health check-ups for more than 1,000 union members in eastern Ho Chi Minh City

Ho Chi Minh City - More than 1,000 union members in Rach Dua and Tam Tham wards have been given free health check-ups.

On August 8, Working Group No. 5 of the Ho Chi Minh City Labor Federation coordinated with Ward Trade Unions; accompanying units to organize health care programs for union members and workers in Rach Dua and Tam Thang wards.

This is an activity within the health care plan for 1 million turns of union members and workers in Ho Chi Minh City; the joint plan on deploying periodic health check-ups for workers and workers in Ho Chi Minh City in 2026.

On August 8, the Organizing Committee organized health check-ups for 1,020 union members and workers (including 129 union members of Tam Thang ward and 891 union members of Rach Dua ward).

Union members are undergoing basic screening and tests according to regulations, and in case of disease detection, they will be consulted and introduced to specialized hospitals for treatment.

Through the program, it has shown the concern and care of the Trade Union organization for union members and workers. At the same time, it affirms the change in the mindset of health care for workers, not only medical examination but also disease prevention, early detection and continuous health management. Thereby contributing to building healthy, high-quality human resources in Ho Chi Minh City in the new period.
