On August 1st, Nam Dong Ha Ward Trade Union (Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation) said that nearly 100 union members and workers of Kim Son Co., Ltd. had just undergone free health check-ups and tests under the Cooperation Program between Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation and MEDLATEC Vietnam Company.
At the program, union members and workers underwent general health check-ups and tests to screen for some diseases such as breast cancer, diabetes, assess kidney function, anemia and many other important health indicators.
The activity helps union members and workers raise awareness about health care, early detection of disease risks for timely monitoring and treatment; and at the same time shows the practical concern and care of the Trade Union organization for the health and life of union members and workers.
This is one of the activities in the series of programs to care for union members and workers to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (July 28, 1929 - July 28, 2026), contributing to improving the welfare of union members, spreading the message of health care for workers and affirming the companion role of the Trade Union organization in protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
