On the morning of August 29, at College of Technology - Tourism No. 10, Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in coordination with the Vietnam Young Physicians Association, the Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) of Quang Tri province and agencies and units organized the program "Medical examination and gift giving for workers - people of Quang Tri province - For a healthier Vietnam 2026".
Speaking at the program, Ms. Ho Thi Kim Ngan - Member of the Standing Committee, Deputy Head of the Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - thanked agencies and units for accompanying and coordinating the program implementation; and affirmed that this is a practical activity to care for, protect and improve the health of union members and workers, contributing to the good implementation of social security work in Quang Tri province.
At the program, 500 union members and workers were examined, screened and provided free health advice. The activity contributed to early detection of risk factors, raising awareness about disease prevention and encouraging workers to proactively take care of their health.
In addition to health check-ups and consultations, the Organizing Committee presented 100 gifts to union members and workers with a total value of 100 million VND.
The Organizing Committee also presented healthcare equipment to the Quang Tri Provincial Health sector, contributing to supporting the medical staff in the work of examining, monitoring and taking care of people's health in the locality.
The program demonstrates the companionship of the Trade Union organization and the team of young doctors in caring for the health of union members, workers and people, contributing to raising awareness of disease prevention and proactively protecting health.
