According to the weekly work plan from July 1st to June 6th, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) implemented many activities towards union members and workers. Among them, the program of medical examination and free medicine distribution for union members in difficult circumstances is a highlight.
The Provincial Labor Federation will organize a program to respond to the Launching Ceremony of the emulation movement "Good Labor, High Productivity, Good Income" for the period 2026 - 2031 to celebrate the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
The program is expected to take place at Ty Xuan Co., Ltd. with the participation of about 300 delegates, union members and workers. This is an activity to arouse the spirit of labor and production emulation, improve productivity and work quality.
On this occasion, the Provincial Labor Federation coordinated to organize medical examinations, health consultations and free medicine distribution for 900 union members and workers in difficult circumstances. The activity contributes to taking care of health, improving life and creating motivation for workers to feel secure in their work.
In addition, the organizing committee will present 250 gifts to union members and workers suffering from critical illnesses, work accidents or in particularly difficult circumstances. This is a practical activity showing the solidarity of the trade union organization with workers.
During the week, the Vinh Long Provincial Trade Union Delegation will attend the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2031. The Provincial Labor Federation will also continue to carry out inspection and supervision of the compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union at grassroots trade unions according to the plan.
In addition, the unit is preparing to organize the final round of the 1st Provincial Workers', Civil Servants' and Laborers' Sports Festival and the program to commend typical worker families in 2026; and at the same time guide grassroots trade unions to organize activities to celebrate International Children's Day June 1.
