On May 17, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province issued a plan to implement the task of innovating vocational training for rural workers, meeting the requirements of industrialization and modernization of agriculture and rural areas.
Khanh Hoa's general goal is to comprehensively innovate, improve the quality and effectiveness of vocational training for rural workers; contribute to building a comprehensively developed farming class with the will and aspiration to rise up, educational qualifications and the ability to innovate creativity, organize advanced production, adapt to the process of industrialization and modernization.
The plan emphasizes the training and retraining of rural human resources to meet the requirements of shifting the labor structure and economic structure towards increasing the proportion of industry and services.
At the same time, training must be associated with preserving and promoting rural cultural spaces; taking advantage of the achievements of the Fourth Industrial Revolution; adapting to urbanization, population aging and climate change.
In the period of 2025 - 2030, Khanh Hoa province strives to support vocational education training for over 4,000 rural workers each year.
The goal is that by 2030, the rate of trained rural workers will reach 90%. Of which, the number of degrees and certificates reached 40%, the rate of non-agricultural labor reached 82%.
To achieve the above goals, the province has set out key groups of tasks and solutions: to increase propaganda and raise social awareness of vocational training for rural workers; improve the effectiveness of state management, promote career guidance and student orientation in general education; comprehensively innovate and improve the quality of vocational training for rural workers...
Currently, the Department of Education and Training is taking the lead in implementing the plan. Departments, branches, localities, enterprises, and vocational training institutions are responsible for coordinating and implementing assigned tasks according to regulations.
