On May 16, the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province directed departments, branches and localities to strengthen inspection and tighten the appraisal of granting certificates of eligibility for business establishments with conditions on security and order, especially sensitive industries at risk of crime and social evils.
Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tan Tuan has assigned the Provincial Police to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to widely disseminate legal regulations for investment and business sectors with conditions on security and order.
This is to raise awareness and compliance with the law of people and businesses; mobilize businesses to strictly comply with regulations, not leaving loopholes for criminals to take advantage.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested to tighten the appraisal and issuance of certificates of security and order eligibility, ensuring compliance with legal regulations. At the same time, strengthen periodic and surprise inspections of businesses in sensitive industries such as karaoke, nightclubs, pick-ups, accommodation, massage... to promptly detect and handle violations.
The Provincial Police and related units are also assigned the task of digital transformation in the management of conditional business sectors and professions; arrange a 24/7 standing force to receive and process information from people on security and order.
Khanh Hoa province emphasizes the need to identify and review diverse and illegal business forms such as bars, pubs, beer clubs, restaurants that use loud music, sing to each other, poker, rent a room... to propose adding to the list of industries and professions with security and order conditions.
According to statistics from the authorities of Khanh Hoa province, the whole province currently has 1,816 business establishments in the industry and profession with security and order conditions. Of which, the most are accommodation businesses with 1,117 units; followed by gift-giving and (196) services, karaoke (92), massage (64), industries using industrial explosives (49), nightclubs (1)...
Most of the facilities comply with regulations in operation. However, there are still many facilities that do not ensure fire prevention and fighting safety conditions and have not been granted certificates of security and order eligibility. Notably, there is a situation of disguised and distorted business, showing signs of bad activities such as drugs, gambling, black credit, etc.
Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee requested relevant units to strictly handle violations, ensure a healthy business environment, and avoid hot spots of crime and social evils.
