On June 4, information from Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee said that the locality has just approved the civil servant recruitment plan for 2026.
Accordingly, as of May 25, 2026, the total number of civil servant positions assigned to agencies, organizations, and localities of the province is 4,509 positions.
The number used is 3,935 payroll positions, of which 1,500 are provincial payroll positions and 2,435 are commune payroll positions.
In 2026, the total recruitment demand for job positions in the province is 407 targets.
In which, for departments, boards, and branches at the provincial level, 52 job positions in 11 fields were registered for recruitment with a quantity of 79 targets.
For People's Committees of communes and wards, 28 job positions in 15 fields were registered for recruitment with a quantity of 328 targets.
Among the leading recruitment fields are specialists in information technology application management and digital transformation with 31 targets; specialists in the field of land and mineral resources with 29 targets.
Also according to the announced plan, in 2026, Khanh Hoa implements a policy to attract and value talented people according to Decree No. 179/2024/ND-CP of the Government.
The subjects considered according to the talent attraction category include excellent graduates, talented young scientists; people with doctoral and post-doctoral degrees trained at prestigious educational institutions around the world; experts, scientists, managers with many outstanding achievements in the field of expertise suitable to the development needs of the locality.
For talent recruitment, the recruitment process is carried out in two rounds.
For the exam form, Khanh Hoa is expected to recruit 407 targets. The exam is organized in two rounds according to the provisions of Decree No. 170/2025/ND-CP.
In round 1, candidates take a multiple-choice test on a computer consisting of 60 questions in 60 minutes. The content tests general knowledge about the political system, state administrative management, rights and obligations of civil servants, public service ethics and social, cultural and historical knowledge. Candidates who answer correctly from 50% of the questions or more are allowed to participate in round 2.
Round 2 is the professional exam in the specialized field in the form of multiple-choice tests on computers. The exam consists of 60 questions in 90 minutes, on a 100-point scale. The content assesses professional knowledge, professional skills, public duty performance skills and the ability to apply law to work according to the requirements of each recruitment position.
According to regulations, each candidate is only allowed to register for one job position. In case of registering for two or more positions, their names will be removed from the exam list.
The time to receive applications is 30 days from the date the recruitment notice is publicly announced in the mass media and the electronic information portal of the competent authority.
