On May 19, the Can Tho City Labor Federation held a Conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 07b/NQ-TLD and deploy the management of trade union finance and assets in 2025.
At the conference, the Can Tho City Labor Federation approved the Report summarizing 10 years of implementing Resolution No. 07b/NQ-TLD on Trade Union financial work in the new situation and goals, tasks, and solutions on Trade Union financial work in the period of 2025 - 2030 as well as the following years in the city.
The delegates expressed their high consensus on the report's content; at the same time, contributed many opinions to make the Union's financial work in the coming time highly effective.
Guidelines on management of trade union finance and assets in 2025 were also specifically presented at the conference. Accordingly, the focus is on the contents of financial handover and receipt, accounting methods, and accounting for trade union units when dissolving, merging, and consolidating; guidance on the implementation of handover, receipt, and handling of assets when dissolving, merging, and issues related to finance and trade union assets.
Speaking at the conference, Chairwoman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation Le Thi Suong Mai acknowledged the advantages of the units when there is attention to strict management, helping the financial work of the Trade Union to have positive changes; proactively coordinate with competent agencies to do a good job of collection and expenditure, promote financial and financial management to ensure publicity, transparency and efficiency;....
The Chairman of the Can Tho City Labor Federation also requested units to identify the causes and overcome existing limitations so that the city's Trade Union financial work can achieve the set results and goals.
On this occasion, 13 collectives and 20 individuals received Certificates of Merit from the Executive Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation for their achievements in implementing Resolution No. 07b/NQ-TLD dated October 21, 2016 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (term XI) on Trade Union financial work in the new situation.
