Production momentum right from the 6th day of Tet
From February 22-23 (from the 6th to the 7th day of Tet), in industrial parks in Dong Thap province, workers and laborers returned to businesses quite fully. Some units, due to the specific characteristics of production, organized launches from the 6th day of Tet.
At Truong Giang Seafood Joint Stock Company (Sa Dec Industrial Park), the enterprise prepares sufficient conditions to deploy production on the 6th. The Board of Directors organizes a New Year lucky money program, encouraging employees to enthusiastically compete.

Mr. Vo Minh Thanh - fillet service worker of the company - said that he has returned to work on schedule, many people even came earlier than the regulated time to wish colleagues a Happy New Year before starting work. With a salary of about 7.8 million VND/month, welfare regime is guaranteed, salary and bonuses are paid in time, along with the concern and visits of the Trade Union and the business, he wishes to stick with it for a long time.
The bustling atmosphere also took place at CADOVINA Seafood Processing and Import-Export Joint Stock Company. On the first working day of the year, more than 95% of the nearly 1,000 workers returned to work; the rest took maternity leave or annual leave. The Board of Directors and the grassroots Trade Union welcomed workers right at the gate, giving cakes and drinking water, adding energy for the spring opening day.

At Nghi Phong Joint Venture Co., Ltd. (Tran Quoc Toan Industrial Park), Chairman of the grassroots Trade Union Nguyen Hoang Han said that thanks to ensuring good salaries, Tet bonuses and policies to care for life, workers have returned to work quite fully. Currently, the enterprise has many orders, ensuring stable jobs and income.
Meanwhile, Lai Vung Garment Co., Ltd. (Song Hau Industrial Park) recorded more than 98% of workers returning after a long holiday. Mr. Nguyen Ba Chau - a company worker - shared: "The atmosphere at the beginning of the year is very exciting. After a long Tet holiday, the brothers are ready to focus on working to keep up with the progress of customers.
Notably, more than 21,000 workers of Freeview Industrial VN Co., Ltd. (Tan Huong Industrial Park) have returned to work since the 7th day of Tet. The Trade Union coordinated with the Board of Directors to organize a spring opening program, creating a bustling atmosphere before shift starts. Many workers said they always receive attention from the business, from salaries, Tet bonuses to encouragement gifts.
Proactive solutions to "keep" workers
According to a report by the Trade Union of Industrial Parks and Dong Thap Economic Zone, after Tet, most workers have returned to work from February 22nd (the 6th day of Tet), reaching a rate of about 96%. This is a positive sign, helping businesses stabilize production right from the beginning of the year.

This result comes from the fact that businesses coordinate with grassroots trade unions to well implement the regime of caring for life and jobs, applying many solutions to "keep" workers.
Before Tet, businesses have fully paid 2025 salaries, implemented salary advances and Tet bonuses in a timely manner, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere. Non-state-owned enterprises pay Tet bonuses on average for one basic month's salary. The highest bonus level recorded is 87.5 million VND at Viet Thang Animal Feed Joint Stock Company (Sa Dec Industrial Park); the lowest level is about 3.7 million VND for newly recruited workers under 6 months.
In particular, businesses in the area have implemented the regional minimum wage according to Decree 293/2025/ND-CP of the Government, with adjustments to increase compared to 2025. Specifically, region I: 5,310,000 VND/month, 25,500 VND/hour; Region II: 4,730,000 VND/month, 22,700 VND/hour; Region III: 4,140,000 VND/month, 20,000 VND/hour and Region IV: 3,700,000 VND/month, 17,800 VND/hour.

On the first working day of the year, in addition to some workers from afar being supported by Trade Union vehicles, most of the workers were fully present at the factory. With enthusiastic spirit and enthusiastic emulation right from the early days of spring, production lines are expected to quickly stabilize, achieve high productivity, contribute to the successful implementation of the 2026 production and business plan and make positive contributions to the socio-economic development of the province.
