Converting more than 94ha of 2-crop rice land, the Phuc Yen Industrial Park project started construction on April 9, contributing to promoting industrial development and completing synchronous and modern socio-economic infrastructure.
According to the approved plan, Phuc Yen IP has a land area allocated of about 111.33ha in Phuc Yen ward, Phu Tho province, oriented to attract high-quality investment, especially from businesses in the fields of: High technology and electronics, precision mechanics, supporting industries and logistics.
Working far from home for many years, Mr. Nguyen Van Tuan (30 years old, Tam Duong commune), a mechanical worker in Hanoi, said that after deducting living expenses, the meager accumulation makes him always worried about the future.
He hopes that industrial zones and clusters in Phuc Yen will soon be deployed on schedule to have the opportunity to return to their hometowns to work, reduce spending pressure, be close to their families and stabilize their lives. Not only does he need jobs, he also hopes to have social housing and synchronous infrastructure so that workers can settle down for a long time.
Meanwhile, Ms. Tran Thi Hanh (35 years old, Phuc Yen ward) is currently working at an industrial park in Vinh Phuc (old), nearly 40km from home. Every day she has to travel early by company car, overtime during peak periods, which significantly affects her health and time to take care of her family. Ms. Hanh believes that the formation of Phuc Yen IP not only creates more jobs but also helps workers balance work and life, reducing travel pressure and living costs.
Owning a prime location, Phuc Yen Industrial Park has outstanding transportation advantages with 4 "encircling" spearheads: About 10 minutes from Noi Bai International Airport, belonging to the Phu Tho - Viet Tri - Vinh Yen - Phuc Yen urban area, located along the Noi Bai - Lao Cai - Hai Phong dynamic economic corridor and adjacent to strategic transport routes such as: Noi Bai - Lao Cai expressway, National Highway 2, Hanoi - Lao Cai railway, Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong high-speed railway.
From the goal of attracting multi-industry investment, prioritizing high technology, electricity, and electronics, the project is expected to actively contribute to solving employment, improving people's income, contributing to the local budget as well as creating momentum for growth, contributing to promoting socio-economic development of Phu Tho province.
Mr. Pham Hong Diep - Chairman of the Board of Directors of Shinec Joint Stock Company informed that currently, Phuc Yen Industrial Park is calculating and calling for investors. With the Phuc Yen ward area, near Hanoi, the project prioritizes building high-tech zones. Mr. Diep gave an example of the process of negotiating with some investors about electronic chips to build in Phuc Yen Industrial Park, for example, Thinking Taiwan (China). "We will call on investors to develop logistics chains from Lao Cai to Hai Phong, as well as connect cargo transportation by air at Noi Bai airport. This is one of the values that brings high economic development to Phu Tho province" - Mr. Diep affirmed.
