On December 27, information from Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance (BHXH) said that the unit had just organized a conference to summarize the work in 2025 and successfully deploy tasks for 2026.
The conference assessed the situation and results of implementing social insurance and health insurance (HI) targets and tasks in 2025 and deployed tasks for 2026.
Mr. Dang Hong Tuan - Director of Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance - said that implementing the policy of arranging administrative units, the Social Insurance of 3 provinces Binh Thuan, Dak Nong and Lam Dong (old) were merged into Regional Social Insurance XXV; then renamed Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance from July 2025.
With a new organizational model, wide management area, and large number of participants, the unit has synchronously implemented solutions to develop social insurance participants; and at the same time promote administrative procedure reform and digital transformation.
The overarching goal of Lam Dong Social Insurance is to take people and businesses as the center of service, ensuring sustainable and long-term social security," Mr. Tuan emphasized.
Thanks to that, many important targets in 2025 have been completed. The health insurance coverage rate reached 95% of the population, continuing to play a pillar role in ensuring social security of the province.
The unit has developed 291,601 people participating in social insurance, accounting for 17.5% of the labor force; of which voluntary social insurance increased by nearly 15% compared to 2024. The work of resolving regimes and policies is implemented promptly and in accordance with regulations; the health insurance medical examination and treatment rights of people continue to be guaranteed.
From the achieved results, Lam Dong Provincial Social Insurance set out directions and tasks for 2026, assigning specific targets to departments and affiliated units, focusing on developing participants, collecting and reducing late payments of social insurance and health insurance.
The conference also discussed and removed difficulties at the grassroots level, especially in developing participants and controlling health insurance medical examination and treatment costs, in order to successfully complete the targets and tasks for 2026.
To date, the health insurance coverage rate in Lam Dong has reached 95% of the population, continuing to play a pillar role in ensuring social security in the province.
Developed 291,601 people participating in social insurance, accounting for 17.5% of the labor force, of which voluntary social insurance increased by nearly 15% compared to 2024.
Collecting social insurance and health insurance of more than 9,634 billion VND, completing and exceeding the assigned plan. Resolving regimes and policies for over 142,000 turns of people, total spending of about 6,695 billion VND, ensuring timeliness and compliance with regulations.
Medical examination and treatment with health insurance for over 5.4 million visits, spending about 2,534 billion VND; resolutely refused to pay 17.6 billion VND of expenses that were not in accordance with regulations.
Information verification of participants reached 99.54%, contributing to improving management efficiency and serving the People.
