Creating unity
Looking forward to the Trade Union Congress at all levels, the First Congress of the Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union and the 14th Congress of the Vietnam Trade Union, term 2026-2031, the provincial trade unions at all levels will enthusiastically implement many meaningful and practical activities, creating an emulation atmosphere among union members and workers.
The Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) has issued documents directing and providing specific guidance on the propaganda work for the Trade Union Congress at all levels. To date, 100% of grassroots trade unions have organized propaganda towards the Congress; more than 250 projects and emulation work have been registered for implementation with a total value of tens of billions of VND; 1,250 cultural, artistic and sports activities have been vibrant, attracting over 120,000 union members and workers to participate.
Propaganda activities are comprehensively deployed, focusing on core contents, suitable for each target group. Trade unions at all levels organized over 150 political activities, seminars, and talks, creating a forum for discussion, enthusiastic comments, and expressing the union members' enthusiasm and responsibility for the development of the organization.
Propaganda work is associated with the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, proactively fighting and refuting erroneous and hostile viewpoints, contributing to strengthening the trust of union members and workers in the leadership of the Party and the Trade Union organization.
Spreading widely
As of November 2025, the whole province has published more than 1,500 articles, reports, reports, and topics in Lao Dong Newspaper, Dong Thap Newspaper, Dong Thap Radio - Television Station, website and fanpage "Dong Thap Trade Union", attracting tens of thousands of visits, comments, and shares.
Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor coordinates to build a website and section "Towards Trade Union Congresses at all levels", regularly updating news, articles, images, video clips, infographics on trade union activities, typical union members, good models, and creative ways of doing things. Many grassroots units also proactively produce short videos, infographics, and design easy-to-understand, vivid propaganda flyers that are suitable for employees in the enterprise.
The whole province has over 100 banners, electronic boards, more than 120 conferences for reporters and propagandists organized, attracting more than 25,000 participants. In particular, the model "Connecting the propaganda of trade unions at enterprises" continues to be effective, helping information about the Congress to spread widely to each production team and worker dormitory.
Along with propaganda work, the patriotic emulation movement among union members and workers was widely launched, associated with specific and practical actions. Typical are the movements: "Good workers, creative workers", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and hygiene", "Innovation, creativity, efficiency in Trade Union activities".
Many models and programs have strong influence such as: Launching the "workers' boarding house" model, "Workers 5 no", "Happy bus trip", Gameshow "After work hours", "Union supermarket" selling non-profit goods, or "Pregnant and raising children club".
Hundreds of welfare projects have been started, notably 131 "Union Shelters" with a total value of more than 7.49 billion VND, demonstrating the concern and care of the Union organization for union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
The Congress of Trade Unions at all levels is an important milestone, opening a new stage of development for the workers' movement and trade union activities in the province.
Promoting the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", Dong Thap Trade Union continues to innovate content and methods of operation, focusing on the grassroots, taking union members and workers as the center; together with the Party Committee, government and people in building Dong Thap civilized, rich, beautiful and humane.
