Many initiatives of young workers bring billions of dong in benefits
Trade unions at all levels in Ba Ria - Vung Tau province are constantly propagating and spreading the movement "Good workers, creative workers" among workers. Responding positively, many young workers in the province have had practical initiatives and improvements to bring high profit value to businesses.
Engineer Nguyen Van Loc (born in 1990, VARD Vung Tau Company Limited) is considered by his colleagues to be a typical initiative tree. He and his colleagues have many initiatives that bring great benefits to the business.
For example, the initiative "Updated and improved the division of the road connecting units 003, 004 in the automatic cruise ship series project" has benefited businesses with VND450 million/year; the initiative "Change the process of manufacturing duck feet for wind power trains" - when applied, has benefited businesses with VND200 million/year, saving 500-1,000 working hours for each ship...
Along with many other initiatives, helping businesses save up to 1.1 billion VND/year in total, Mr. Loc has received the Creative Labor Certificate from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Certificate of Merit from the Provincial Federation of Labor; Certificate of Merit from the People's Committee of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province for outstanding achievements in the emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers"; was honored to receive the Nguyen Duc Canh award for the 4th time in 2023 presented by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Mr. Truong Minh Lam (Vung Tau Urban and Green Park Development Joint Stock Company) is also one of many dynamic and creative examples in labor and production.
Mr. Lam's initiatives such as: "Source solution to warn of pressure, water flow of automatic irrigation system", "Installation of electromagnetic valves, automatic closing and unlocking water in public freshwater baths" ... help benefit businesses billions of dong.
The initiative "Social solutions to monitor, search for and warn of electrical leak incidents of electrical equipment in parks" helps limit the potential risk of electrical accidents for workers.
Mr. Lam was also honored to be awarded the 4th Nguyen Duc Canh Award in 2023 by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Lam was also awarded the Creative Labor Certificate and other certificates of merit from the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Federation of Labor.
Spreading the creative emulation movement among union members
Many other union members also participated in contributing many ideas and initiatives that benefited businesses and the community. This is even more spread among union members and workers when unions at all levels actively propagate and mobilize; businesses and units have good ways to encourage and motivate.
A representative of Vard Vung Tau Company Limited (where Mr. Loc works) said that along with the propaganda and mobilization of the trade union organization, the enterprise always encourages and creates conditions for employees to freely create and contribute; rewards individuals with achievements and good ideas applied to production practice.
"The ideas of workers are always appreciated by the company, receiving timely evaluation to put into application. At the same time, it will make clear commitments, helping workers to be trained in professional skills and feel secure in promoting and contributing", said a representative of Vard Vung Tau.
According to the Provincial Federation of Labor, in recent times, the team of union members and workers in the area has continuously overcome difficulties, contributing many improvements and innovations to enhance and optimize production labor.
The emulation movement "Good workers - Creative workers" has become a source of encouragement for union members and workers to strive to contribute and affirm the intellectual qualities of the working class in the process of industrialization and modernization of the country.
In 2024, the whole province had more than 530 topics and 7,770 initiatives contributed by union members and workers, helping to benefit the unit and enterprise with more than 25 billion VND.
In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to promote propaganda, commendation, reward and replication of advanced models, creating motivation for union members and workers to continue to contribute practical initiatives in production labor.
