On August 15, at Luong Quoi Coconut Processing Co., Ltd., the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation organized a Work Safety Culture Forum with the theme "Safety to Return Home".
Attending the forum were Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Member of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation; representatives of departments, agencies, branches, businesses, grassroots trade unions, commune and ward trade unions and more than 100 delegates.
The forum was attended by Dr. Quan Hong Duc - Member of the Executive Committee of the Science and Technology Association for Occupational Safety and Health, member of the Implementation Team of the Project on Safe Culture in the Workplace for the period 2025-2030 of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung emphasized that seemingly small actions such as wearing helmets properly, checking equipment before operation, complying with technical procedures or proactively identifying risks all contribute to protecting the health and lives of workers and the happiness of each family.

According to Ms. Nguyen Thi Kim Dung, occupational safety and health should not only stop at complying with legal regulations but also need to become a self-awareness, regular habit, and cultural value in each business. When businesses, trade unions, and workers take the initiative to implement it, the working environment will be safer and more civilized.
With the message "Safe to return home", the forum is an opportunity for experts, businesses, trade union organizations and workers to exchange experiences, identify risks, and propose solutions to prevent work accidents and occupational diseases.
Through the program, the Vinh Long Provincial Labor Federation wishes each business to build a safety culture, so that safety is not only a mandatory requirement but becomes a responsibility and habit of each person.
Behind each worker, there is always a family waiting. Therefore, "Safe to Return Home" is not only a message about accident prevention but also a reminder, a spread of responsibility to protect the homes and future of workers.
