Accordingly, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has awarded 150 million VND in "Union Shelter" support to 3 cases of union members and workers with difficult housing circumstances in the province. Each case was supported with 50 million VND from the Social Fund of the Ninh Binh Provincial Trade Union.
The supported cases include the family of Mr. Dang Van Phong (residing in Thanh Long hamlet, Gia Van commune), Mr. Pong is currently a worker at Ever Great International Company Limited (in Gia Van Industrial Cluster).
Mr. Dang Van Phong's family is in especially difficult circumstances, his wife has cancer, and the infertile couple have been on a bus for treatment for many years. Meanwhile, the level 4 house where the couple is living is seriously degraded and unsafe.
"The house is expected to be built with a total cost of over 500 million VND, of which the Provincial Federation of Labor supported 50 million VND, the Ever Great International Company Limited Trade Union supported 14 million VND" - Mr. Phong shared.
Similarly, for the family of Ms. Dinh Thi Lieu, a union member of Ever Great International Company Limited, the Provincial Federation of Labor also supported her with 50 million VND and the Company supported her with 14 million VND.
For the family of Mr. Nguyen Van Uoc, a union member of Chung Jye Ninh Binh Vietnam Shoes Manufacturing Co., Ltd. Trade Union (in Khanh Nhac Industrial Cluster, Khanh Nhac Commune), a particularly difficult case, belonging to a poor household in the commune, Mr. Uoc himself is in poor health and often has to go to the hospital for treatment.
Nearly a month ago, on the way to work, his wife unfortunately had a traffic accident that led to her death, leaving behind a sick husband and 3 children of school age.
Faced with the difficult circumstances of Mr. Uoc's family, the Ninh Binh Provincial Federation of Labor has supported 50 million VND. In addition, a representative of Chung Jye Ninh Binh Vietnam Shoes Manufacturing Co., Ltd. supported Mr. Uoc's family with more than 220 million VND to build a new house.
