Leaders of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visit, present gifts, and pay tribute to war invalids and sick soldiers

On the afternoon of July 22, a working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor visited and presented gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers being treated, cared for and nurtured at Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center (Ninh Binh).

On the occasion of the 78th Anniversary of the Vietnam War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,47-27, 2025), the delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL) led by Permanent Vice President of the VGCL Thai Thu Xuong visited and presented gifts to war invalids and sick soldiers being treated, cared for and nurtured at Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center (Ninh Binh).

Also joining the working group were Ms. Tran Thu Phuong - Deputy Head of Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Hai Long - Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial Labor Federation...

Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center is currently managing, treating, caring for, nurturing and implementing policies and regimes for 52 war invalids, seriously ill soldiers and 1 martyr's relative from 15 provinces and cities across the country.

On behalf of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong kindly visited, encouraged, and shared the pain and weakness of the wounded and sick soldiers, and expressed special feelings and infinite gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic martyrs and sick soldiers who donated part of their blood and bones and youth to the Fatherland.

Ms. Thai Thu Xuong hopes that the meritorious comrades and sick soldiers will continue to promote the nature and good traditions of Uncle Ho's soldiers, maintain their health, overcome their illnesses, live happily and healthily.

At the same time, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong respectfully thanked the staff of Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center for always being dedicated, responsible, nurturing, caring for the wounded and sick soldiers like relatives; hoping that the staff of Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center will continue to promote the tradition, take good care of the material and spiritual life of the wounded and sick soldiers, those who have lost part of their blood for the cause of national liberation and national reunification...

On this occasion, the working delegation of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor presented 136,000,000 VND to war invalids, seriously ill soldiers, and relatives of martyrs; and the collective of cadres, civil servants, and workers of Duy Tien War Invalids Nursing Center.
