Politburo Member, Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has just issued a Decision on the transfer and appointment of Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee to hold the position of Standing Deputy Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religions.
The decision takes effect from July 19.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh was born in 1977, from Da Nang city, professional qualifications: Master of Public Administration Management, University majoring in Architecture, Bachelor of English Literature.
He was a member of the Party Central Committee of the XIII term (supplied) and the XIV term.
Mr. Nguyen Hoai Anh has many years of working in Binh Thuan province (old), having held the positions of: Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.
In July 2025, he was transferred to hold the position of Standing Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee. From September 2025, he was transferred to hold the position of Deputy Secretary of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and was elected to hold the position of Chairman of Thanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee.
The current Minister of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs is Mr. Nguyen Dinh Khang - Member of the Party Central Committee.
The Ministry of Ethnic Minorities and Religious Affairs is the Government's agency performing state management functions in the following sectors and fields: Ethnic affairs; beliefs, religions and state management of public services under the ministry's state management sectors and fields according to the provisions of law.
