To celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union, on July 22, a working delegation of Vinh Long provincial leaders led by Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, along with Mr. Nguyen Phuc Linh - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation, visited two businesses and presented gifts to union members in difficult circumstances.
The delegation visited Furukawa Automotive Systems Vinh Long Vietnam Co., Ltd. (FAVV) and Khang Thinh One Member Co., Ltd. Provincial leaders acknowledged positive results in production and business, creating stable jobs, ensuring income and fully implementing policies for workers.
Speaking at the units, Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai praised the efforts of businesses and trade union organizations in caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers. He proposed to continue to innovate technology, improve productivity, build a safe and civilized working environment and improve the lives of union members.
Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai also proposed that grassroots trade unions continue to innovate the content and methods of operation, promote the role of a bridge between businesses and workers; promote emulation movements for good labor and creative labor, contributing to improving productivity and production efficiency.
Affirming the view of accompanying businesses, Mr. Kim Ngoc Thai said that the province will continue to listen, promptly remove difficulties, and create favorable conditions for businesses to develop sustainably.
On this occasion, the working delegation also presented gifts to encourage union members and workers in difficult circumstances to celebrate the 97th anniversary of the establishment of the Vietnam Trade Union.
