Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor has just issued a Plan and documents to direct and guide trade unions at all levels in the province to organize congresses for the 2025-2030 term.
Accordingly, the Provincial Federation of Labor has established 4 Subcommittees, Working Groups and 3 Working Groups for local management; assigned specific tasks to members; organized training conferences on organizing trade union congresses for trade union officials at all levels; and developed a document approval schedule for each unit.
Up to now, the review of grassroots trade unions and union members has been completed; the direction of commune, ward and grassroots trade unions to organize congresses for the 2025-2030 term is being urgently implemented.
This term of trade union congresses at all levels marks a fundamental change in the organizational model, methods of operation and gathering subjects. Therefore, trade unions at all levels in the province must organize congresses in a practical and effective manner, focusing on quality, saving time and money, ensuring on schedule - Mr. Nguyen Chuong Phat, Chairman of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation emphasized.
As the organizer of the first congress, the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union has proactively issued a Plan to organize the congress for the 2025-2030 term, advising the Party Committee and the Provincial Labor Federation to approve the Personnel Project and Document to submit to the congress. In addition, doing a good job of propaganda, preparing to decorate the holiday, launching patriotic emulation movements to create a joyful and exciting atmosphere among union officials, union members, and workers.
Mr. Tran Quoc Toan, Chairman of the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union, said: Although it has not been put into operation under the new model for long, the preparation for the Yen Bai Ward Trade Union Congress was prepared very early, and received great attention from the Standing Committee of the Ward Party Committee and the Standing Committee of the Labor Federation. We believe that the Congress will become a festival for union officials, union members, and workers in the ward.
According to the plan, it is expected that by October 31, the organization of commune and ward trade union congresses will be completed; by November 30, the organization of grassroots trade union congresses will be completed.
The first Lao Cai Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025-2030, will be held after the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Congress and is expected to be completed before December 31, 2025.
