Proactively improving qualifications
Mr. Dang Minh Hoang is a sales staff at a luxury painting studio in Tay Ho district (Hanoi). Having been attached to the job for 5 years, Mr. Hoang is confident in his skills in customer service, sales and after-sales care. However, in the past 2 years, realizing the rapid changes in the labor market and employment due to the strong development of digital technology and AI, Mr. Hoang has proactively registered for a class on AI and digital skills.
I bought a course from a reputable training center on AI and digital skills. I started with the simplest things such as the definition of AI, digital skills for workers, applications that can be utilized in work... For the past year, I have started to have in-depth exchanges and go into specific negotiations with partners in some countries in the Asian region, especially Korea and Japan. Thanks to AI, I have scanning more customers, and at the same time, I have also consulted and learned many more useful things about work in cyberspace, Mr. Hoang shared.

According to Mr. Hoang, digital skills classes are currently very diverse, with tuition fees ranging from a few million to tens of millions of VND per course. However, learners need to find reputable centers, clearly identify the key skills/tools they want to learn to serve their work to avoid spreading, wasting time and achieving the fastest results.
More job opportunities, increase income
Ms. Bui Lan Anh has been a marketing and communication specialist for a nursing center in Ha Dong district (Hanoi) for 5 years. For the past 2 years, Ms. Lan Anh has noticed that her work has changed by 80% due to the impact of technology, especially the rapid "ingress" of AI in work.
The center where I work has 3 locations in Hanoi, reputable and with a stable number of customers. Previously, we were not too pressured about marketing and communication because we always had regular ideas, customers were also satisfied with the quality of the service. However, in the past 2 years, other centers have begun to have many ideas or integrate incentive programs, we do not dare to sleep on the victory so we have to change.
In addition to leading the center to create conditions and support funding for school, we proactively update new knowledge related to AI. Even the elderly in the center are instructed by staff to use AI and simple software on their computers, said Ms. Lan Anh.
According to Ms. Lan Anh, relatives and children of the elderly in the nursing home are satisfied and highly appreciate the center's "training" of elderly people in digital skills that many people imagine that only the younger generation can use. More importantly, thanks to mastering digital skills, Ms. Lan Anh's group of 12 marketing and communication staff had many more ideas to improve the quality of spiritual life for the elderly at the center.
We even take advantage of technology, learn about trends and arrange for people aged 80 and even 90 to take trend-catching photos; organize picnicks right in the campus according to the topics voted by the elderly...
This activity is so interesting that after we posted it on the center's website, many press agencies contacted us to report the news. This is beyond our expectations, Ms. Lan Anh happily said.
According to Ms. Lan Anh, thanks to the effectiveness of applying digital technology in her work, she received an early salary increase. At the same time, some forums contacted her to invite her to be a speaker to share her experience in applying technology to make cheap and effective communication.
