The Hanoi People's Committee has just issued a decision approving Component Project 2 of Investment in the construction of Tu Lien Bridge and the approach roads at both ends of the bridge from the intersection with Nghi Tam Street to the intersection with Truong Sa Street.
Accordingly, the project was built in Tay Ho district, Long Bien district, Dong Anh district with a land use area of about 62.71 ha. The direction of the construction of the project according to the route plan, the location of the Tu Lien bridge and the two ends of the bridge from the intersection with Nghi Tam road to the intersection with Truong Sa road approved by the City People's Committee.
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Traffic Construction Investment Project Management Board as the investor, with a total estimated investment of over VND 15,000 billion, to be implemented in 2025 - 2027. The project belongs to group A and the traffic works of road bridges and urban roads are granted special status.
The objective of investment projects is to improve the traffic conditions connecting through the Red River, promote the urbanization process of the area as a premise for the implementation of the policy of population relaxation, reducing traffic pressure in the central area of the city and reducing the load for Chuong Duong, Long Bien, Nhat Tan, Thang Long and Vinh Tuy Bridge. At the same time, gradually improving the general planning for construction of Hanoi Capital, the planning for transportation and development of Hanoi transportation, ensuring security and defense for the Capital and developing modern urban space on both sides of the Red River.
Scale of construction investment: Starting point connects with Nghi Tam street, Tay Ho district; ending point through the intersection with Truong Sa street, Dong Anh district. The total length of the study area is about 5.15km.
