Recently, the City People's Committee sent a dispatch to the Prime Minister to propose the commencement of the investment project to build Tu Lien Bridge and the two ends of the bridge on May 19 on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - 19.5.2025).

According to Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Tran Sy Thanh, with important political significance and key transport infrastructure development, socio -economic development, ensuring the growth goals of the whole country and the city, the early implementation of investment in building 3 investment projects to build a large bridge over the Red River (including Tu Lien Bridge) is very urgent.

Tu Lien Bac Bridge across the Red River, when completed, will solve an important intersection to connect the center of Hanoi City with the National Exhibition Center Center (expected to be completed in 2025) and also a part of the project in the whole route connecting Gia Binh airport, Bac Ninh province with Hanoi capital.

Regarding the site clearance to implement the Tu Lien Bridge Construction Project, on April 14, exchanging with workers, representatives of the Construction Investment Project Management Board (Tay Ho Construction Investment) said that the unit has developed a detailed plan to implement ground clearance in the district.

"We have requested 3 wards of Yen Phu, Quang An and Tu Lien to have specific reports on the type of land, the owner, the resettlement requirement ... In addition, the unit closely follows the information from departments and branches to firmly grasp information about the land parcel records" - representative of the Construction Project Management Board (Construction Investment).

Currently, Tay Ho district has completed the review of the total land area to be recovered in all three wards, Yen Phu, Quang An and Tu Lien. The total area of ​​land clearance is expected to be about 266,524.1m2.

In particular, the residential land is 18,624.8 m2, agricultural land 118,065.0 m2, land managed by the People's Committees of wards (river banks, water surface, traffic land) 129,883.3 m2.

The total number of cases of land acquisition is 327 residential land and 270 agricultural land plots. Expected resettlement 215 units. The total cost of site clearance is VND 2,910 billion.

Regarding the ground clearance in Dong Anh district, talking with labor, Mr. Nguyen Anh Dung - Chairman of the District People's Committee - said that the district has reviewed the land area to be recovered to deploy the construction of Tu Lien Bridge.

"We are still guaranteed the progress that the city assigns" - Mr. Dung informed.

Tu Lien Bridge Project has the first point at the intersection with Nghi Tam Street, Tay Ho District; The end point at the intersection with TC13 axis, Dong Anh district, the total length of about 3km.

Tu Lien Bridge Typical cross-section 43-44m (including 6 motor lanes and mixed lanes, imported, walking ...).

The southern road of the bridge is 48m typical cross -section (including the bridge in the middle, the diverse urban collection road and the sidewalk on both sides of the route).

The northern bridge is typical 60m cross-section (has been determined in the plan, the location of the route connecting Tu Lien Bridge to the new Highway 3, the 1/500 ratio approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 6381/QD-UBND dated December 11, 2024).

Preliminary total investment of the project 20,171 billion dong. The project was implemented in the period 2025 - 2027.
