On June 5, the Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Federation of Labor said that the unit had just organized 2 delegations to visit and encourage cases of work-related accidents and those being treated for serious illnesses in the area.
In particular, the delegation led by Ms. Pham Thu Huong - Vice Chairman of the provincial Labor Federation - Head of the delegation, visited and encouraged the family of N.Q.M members (unfortunately suffering from labor accidents and died at the end of 2024). On behalf of the provincial Trade Union levels, Ms. Huong sent deeply condolences to her family, encouraging Mr. M's wife to try to overcome the loss and difficulty to take care of the three children, and at the same time give the support of the provincial Labor Confederation and the Vung Tau Labor Federation with the amount of 10 million VND to the family.
The delegation also visited and presented gifts to 2 union members, Mr. N.V.T (VLXD No. 15) Joint Stock Company and Ms. T.T.B.H (Hai Long Seafood Joint Stock Company) who are both on temporary leave to treat serious illnesses.
In addition, the delegation led by Mr. Nguyen Ba Hung - Vice Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor - visited and encouraged Ms. T.T.L (Tung Son Company Limited) and Mr. V.D.H (Vung Tau Paradise Joint Venture Company). These union members are also suffering from serious illnesses and have to take time off for home treatment due to accidents.
Ms. T.T.L said that she unfortunately suffered from cancer, with treatment fees of up to 1 million VND/day while her family was in a difficult situation, her income from workers' salaries was low, and she had to raise 2 children to study.
"For me, every day that passes is a constant effort. During this extremely difficult time, receiving the attention and support of both the Union and the enterprise, which is a great source of encouragement both materially and spiritually, to give me more motivation to fight the dangerous disease," said Ms. L.
At each visiting destination, the Trade Unions at all levels sent their condolences and gave meaningful gifts to union members and workers being treated for their illnesses. Through visiting and encouraging activities, the Provincial Federation of Labor hopes that union members and workers will have more motivation to overcome immediate difficulties, work with peace of mind and produce. At the same time, it affirmed that caring for union members and workers is always one of the top tasks of the Trade Union organization.
