The two training courses have the theme: Application of artificial intelligence (AI) in the production of union communication products and Office work, foreign reception. The opening ceremony was attended by Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
The training course was attended by 30 trainees who are Lao trade union officials.
This is an activity within the framework of a cooperation agreement between the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Central Committee of the Lao Trade Union Federation, aiming to promote the relationship between the two organizations to become increasingly in-depth, practical and effective. Thereby, contributing to strengthening the friendship, solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos.

This training course is of special significance when it is held on the occasion of the 135th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday - who, together with President Souphanouvong, laid the foundation and worked hard to build the Vietnam - Laos friendship into invaluable assets, a "one-of-a-kind" relationship in world history.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Mr. Huynh Thanh Xuan - Vice Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - emphasized: "The training course is an opportunity for us to exchange, share experiences, good methods in each country, thereby striving to fulfill the tasks of the two trade unions. I hope that this activities not only provide practical knowledge and skills, but also contribute to the development of the two countries.
The Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor also suggested that students and lecturers actively discuss and make the most of the training time to clarify practical problems, accumulate a lot of experience and harvest useful information.
Immediately after the opening ceremony, the two classes entered the training contents according to the theme.
With the trade union communication class, students learn about the following contents: overview of trade union communication in the digital age and the role of AI; application of AI in writing articles for websites, newspapers, trade union fanpages; techniques of using photos and videos in newsletters and applying AI to create photos and videos; building a trade union communication campaign integrated with AI.
For the office work class, students will have access to the following contents: foreign reception work, situation exercises in reception; document work, archiving and administrative management in the trade union organization.

At the end of the training, the trainees will visit and work at the grassroots union of a coal mining company in Quang Ninh to learn practical experience in implementing related contents.
The training courses not only contribute to improving the professional capacity of trade union officials but are also a vivid testament to the strong cooperation between trade unions of Vietnam and Laos in the context of comprehensive digital transformation.
