The emulation bloc has a total of 10 districts, towns and cities, managing 823 grassroots trade unions (UCs), with a total of 23,581 workers and civil servants (CSOs), including 22,585 union members.
In 2024, patriotic emulation movements launched by all levels, sectors and trade union organizations were enthusiastically implemented by trade unions at all levels in the Bloc, making important contributions to the successful implementation of economic and social goals, ensuring national defense and security in the locality.
In particular, in 2024, the emulation movement to celebrate the 70th Anniversary of Dien Bien Phu Victory and the 95th Anniversary of the Founding of the Vietnam Trade Union was deployed by units in the Bloc to grassroots trade unions to launch emulation, register, and attach signs to projects, products, and celebratory tasks.
At the conference, the reward work was also recognized with impressive numbers.
In 2024, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor awarded 1 emulation flag, 8 certificates of merit to collectives and 14 certificates of merit to outstanding individuals.
The Provincial Federation of Labor awarded 03 emulation flags, 68 certificates of merit to collectives and 91 certificates of merit to individuals.
In addition, the Labor Federations of districts, towns and cities awarded certificates of merit to 176 collectives and 764 individuals.
In particular, the rate of rewards for direct workers and union members who do not hold management positions accounts for 53%, reflecting the focus on rewarding the right subjects.
At the program, Mr. Tan Minh Long - Chairman of the Dien Bien Provincial Labor Federation emphasized the important role of the emulation movement in creating development momentum, and at the same time requested that trade unions at all levels continue to innovate the content and form of emulation, focusing on practical and effective activities, especially taking care of the lives of union members and workers.
The conference also approved the direction and tasks for 2025 with the goal of continuing to promote the patriotic emulation movement, improving the effectiveness of reward work, aiming to celebrate major holidays and welcome the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term; Handing over the emulation bloc leader flag to the Muong Cha District Labor Federation and signing the emulation covenant for 2025.
