On December 19, the Ha Tinh City Labor Federation announced that it had just held a conference to summarize activities in 2024 and deploy tasks in 2025.
In 2024, the Ha Tinh City Labor Federation directed grassroots unions to proactively coordinate with agencies, units, and enterprises to implement grassroots democracy regulations, organize conferences of cadres, civil servants, public employees, labor conferences, dialogue at the workplace, negotiate, bargain, sign and implement collective labor agreements.
Regarding the care of union members and workers, Ha Tinh city's trade unions at all levels have mobilized resources to visit and support 3,267 gifts for union members and their children in difficult circumstances or with serious illnesses, with a total amount of nearly 1.8 billion VND.
Of which, nearly 1.6 billion VND was mobilized from socialized sources; the Provincial Trade Union Social Fund supported the construction of 1 Trade Union Shelter with an amount of 50 million VND.
To practically celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union (July 28), the City Labor Federation directed grassroots Trade Unions to coordinate with professionals to organize a "Trade Union Meal" to honor workers according to the policy of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Provincial Labor Federation.
As a result, 81 units coordinated with the professional organization of "Union Meals".
In 2024, the City Labor Federation was evaluated and classified by the Ha Tinh Provincial Labor Federation as an excellent collective completing its tasks, and the Chairman of the City Labor Federation as an excellent collective completing its tasks; 103/103 grassroots unions were classified as having completed their tasks well, of which 20% of grassroots unions had completed their tasks excellently.
In 2024, Ha Tinh City Labor Federation established 3 new grassroots unions, reaching 100% of the target, and developed 331 new union members, reaching 103% of the target assigned by the Provincial Labor Federation.
At the conference, the Ha Tinh City Labor Federation awarded a number of collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements in 2024.
