That is to complete the project to end the activities of labor federations of districts, cities and the Party and Government Trade Unions. Preparations to end the operation of grassroots trade unions of administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% salary from the State budget.
Union officials also gave their opinions on the project to merge the Labor Federations of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, and Dak Nong provinces to establish the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation. Also at this conference, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor guided and directed tasks in arranging the trade union organizational apparatus. Especially the work of finance, assets and handover of records, documents, and seals of trade unions at all levels when they cease operations.
On this occasion, trade union officials proposed many solutions on trade union organization and activities in the coming time. The union cadres also expressed their thoughts and aspirations in arranging full-time union cadres when reorganizing the apparatus of the political system.
At the conference, Mr. Hoang Lien - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation requested that trade unions at all levels maintain discipline and order in operations to complete assigned targets and tasks.
Mr. Hoang Lien emphasized: "Along with participating in the arrangement of the political system at their level, trade union officials must stick close to the grassroots, accompany workers, not to interrupt or loosen trade union activities".
