On April 25, at Vinh Long - Binh Dinh Company Limited (Nhon Hoa Industrial Park, An Nhon town), the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) held a launching ceremony for Workers' Month 2025 - the 13th time, with the theme "Binh Dinh Workers Pioneer in entering a new era" and commended outstanding union members and workers.
The event took place in an exciting atmosphere, towards major national holidays such as the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), 139th Anniversary of International Labor Day 1.5 (1.5.1886 - May 1, 2025), 135th Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (19.5.1890 - May 19, 2025) and in response to the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene 2025.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ha Duy Trung - Chairman of the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor - emphasized that Workers' Month has become a series of annual activities with strong political and social significance, demonstrating the deep concern of the Trade Union organization for workers' lives.
In 13 years of implementation, the provincial Trade Union at all levels has actively organized many programs to care for and protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers, contributing to building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in enterprises.
In 2025, the Provincial Federation of Labor will continue to launch key activities such as: Creative Labor Festival, "Thanks to Workers" Program, peak of developing union members, propagating traffic safety laws, building a team of excellent Trade Union officials, organizing cultural and sports activities...
At the ceremony, the Provincial Federation of Labor commended 50 union members and outstanding workers with many initiatives to improve techniques, innovate production processes, and effectively manage businesses in the 4.0 industrial era; rewarded 2 collectives and 8 outstanding individuals in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality, and style.
In the 2025 Workers' Month, the Binh Dinh Provincial Federation of Labor set 7 important targets, including: 594 grassroots trade unions (CDCS) of enterprises organizing Workers' Month activities; 431 administrative trade unions, organizing and operating activities of Workers' Month; Establishing 91 new grassroots trade unions; Newly developing 4,505 union members; 23 grassroots trade unions signing initial collective labor agreements; 16 enterprises increasing the value of shift meals and 1/3 of non-state enterprises implementing the Law on Grassroots Democracy.
On this occasion, 100 gifts (700 thousand VND/gift) were presented to workers and laborers in difficult circumstances, occupational accidents, occupational diseases, and serious illnesses. The Provincial Federation of Labor also signed welfare programs for union members and workers in the province.
Immediately after the launching ceremony, the activity of attaching construction signs at 3 units in Vinh Thanh district and communicating traffic safety laws to workers of Nghia Phat Wood Furniture Company Limited (Tuy Phuoc district) was organized, aiming to spread the spirit of Workers' Month widely in the business community and workers in the whole province.
