On January 2, the Propaganda and Women's Committee of the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor announced that the Executive Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor had a meeting on the project to reorganize the organization and apparatus of the Provincial Federation of Labor.
According to the project, the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor will reduce from 6 committees to 5 committees. In particular, the Organizing Committee and the Inspection Committee will be merged (renamed the Organizing - Inspection Committee). The remaining committees will remain unchanged and will only have their functions and tasks transferred or added.
For affiliated units, reduce from 4 to 2 units. Merge the Legal Consulting Center and the Labor Culture Center, change the name to the Labor Consulting and Support Center. Trade Union Technical and Vocational College (remain the same, waiting for the General Confederation's policy on arranging vocational training facilities). End the operation of Binh Duong Trade Union Tourism - Trade Company Limited.
For local industry unions, reorganize and reduce from 4 units to 3 units. Of which, the Textile and Garment industry union remains the same. End the activities of 3 industry unions (Civil Servant Union, Healthcare, Education). Establish 2 higher-level unions directly at the grassroots level to manage grassroots unions and union members of the units ending their activities, which are the Party, mass, judicial union and the Government union.
Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor said it will complete the organizational structure arrangement in February 2025.
