On May 2, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) said that the Workers' Month and the Month of Action on Occupational Safety and Hygiene in 2025 will have many practical and meaningful activities for union members and workers.
The highlight is the Launching Ceremony scheduled to take place on May 6, with the activity of donating 23 Trade Union Shelters, 100 gifts to workers in difficult circumstances and 50 scholarships to children of union members and workers of ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances.
At the ceremony, 93 workers with outstanding achievements in the "Good workers, creative workers" movement in the period of 2023-2024 will be honored to receive certificates of merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Party members who are outstanding workers in 2025 will also be honored.
During this year's Workers' Month, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor also coordinated to organize activities such as: "Your Health" Program and visited union members with occupational diseases, work-related accidents, and serious illnesses, demonstrating comprehensive concern for workers. Organize emulation movements, propaganda activities, and mobilize union members and workers to improve their qualifications and skills. Organize the Thank You Program for Workers. Organize the Peak Month for developing union members, establishing grassroots unions, introducing and developing workers' party members, etc.
