The trade union is always closely attached to the Party, loyal to the interests of the working class, becoming a reliable and solid support for union members and workers nationwide, making a worthy contribution to the goal of building a prosperous and happy country.
Speaking at the meeting, on behalf of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor sent her best wishes to all cadres, union members, workers, civil servants and employees in Son La province.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong affirmed that in the past time, the Vietnam Trade Union has innovated many changes in content and methods of operation. Trade union activities and the workers' movement have achieved comprehensive results, better meeting the legitimate needs and aspirations of union members, workers, civil servants and employees.
The role and position of the trade union organization is increasingly affirmed. To achieve that achievement, it is necessary to affirm the contribution of cadres, union members, workers, civil servants, employees and the Son La Trade Union organization.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong assessed that in recent times, Son La Trade Union activities have promoted a sense of responsibility, solidarity, overcome difficulties, and strive to achieve many achievements in all fields of work.
In particular, promoting the role of representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and employees. Thereby, contributing to maintaining political security and social order and safety in the locality.
Trade unions at all levels have made many efforts, community responsibility, and participated in implementing well the political and professional tasks of agencies, units, and production and business plans of enterprises.
The role of the Son La trade union organization is increasingly clearly affirmed through social and charitable activities to care for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, typically the program "Tet Sum Vay", "Union Shelter", union member welfare... with thousands of union members and workers being cared for every year.
Propaganda work, raising awareness for union members and workers, emulation and reward work, developing union members, building strong grassroots unions... have had many innovations, in line with the characteristics and situation in the new period.
Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong hopes that the Son La trade union organization will continue to promote in the process of arranging and perfecting the apparatus of the political system, contributing to the entire Party, army and people to successfully implement the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
At the meeting, 93 union officials of Son La province were awarded the "For the cause of building the Vietnam Trade Union organization" Medal by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 6 union officials were awarded certificates of merit by the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; 2 individuals were awarded the Creative Labor Certificate by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.
