On August 28, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance informed about the pension and social insurance allowance payment schedule from September 2025 onwards in Ho Chi Minh City.
Accordingly, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will directly transfer money to the account of pensioners and social insurance beneficiaries from the first working day of the month. In September 2025, pensions and social insurance benefits will be transferred to the beneficiary's account by Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance from September 3.
For cash payment, Ho Chi Minh City Post Office, Binh Duong Provincial Post Office, Ba Ria - Vung Tau Provincial Post Office (formerly) will organize payment at payment points from the 10th of each month and continue to pay at the Post Offices of the Central/District Post Office from the 11th to the 25th of each month.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance notes that the payment time is during office hours and on Saturday mornings. In case the payment date falls on a Sunday, holiday, or Tet holiday, the payment date will be the next working day.
Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance recommends that beneficiaries open an account and register to receive pensions and social insurance benefits through personal accounts to avoid wasting time traveling and receive pensions quickly and conveniently.
At the same time, it contributes to the effective implementation of the solution of applying the National Population Database in paying pensions and monthly social insurance benefits through non-cash payment methods as directed by the Government.
It is known that in September 2025, Ho Chi Minh City Social Insurance will pay 343,293 people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits. Of which, 307,572 people (89.59%) and 35,721 people receiving monthly pensions and social insurance benefits in the form of non-cash payments will receive pensions and social insurance benefits (11.41%).
