Lang Son - The Provincial Labor Federation awarded 40 million VND to support the removal of temporary houses in Khanh Khe commune.

On the morning of April 17, the Provincial Labor Federation donated 40 million VND from the Social Fund to support two difficult households in Khanh Khe commune to build and repair houses.

The working delegation led by Ms. Be Thi Hoa, Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Labor Federation, visited and encouraged the family of Ms. Hoang Thi Ha in Ban Moi village and presented 20 million VND to support house construction.

On the same day, the delegation also supported 20 million VND for the family of Mr. Hua Van Nhat in Trung Son village, through the commune government, to help this household eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses.

According to the Provincial Labor Federation, all funds are deducted from the unit's Social Fund, contributing to supporting poor households and households in difficult circumstances to soon stabilize their accommodation.

Local representatives said that as of April 15, Khanh Khe commune had completed the removal of 23 out of a total of 27 temporary and dilapidated houses. The remaining four houses are expected to be completed before April 20.

The commune government assessed that the support from trade union organizations and social forces has contributed to accelerating the progress of the program, gradually improving living conditions for people in difficult circumstances in the area.

This activity also demonstrates the role of trade union organizations in social security work, taking care of the lives of workers and vulnerable people.
