After the arrangement and merger of trade unions, up to now, the total number of grassroots trade unions under the new Hung Yen Provincial Federation of Labor (LDLD) is 1,457 units, merged from 939 grassroots trade unions of the old Hung Yen province and 518 grassroots trade unions of the old Thai Binh province with a total of more than 302,000 union members.
According to Ms. Do Thi Huong, despite many difficulties in the work of arranging the apparatus, the Provincial Federation of Labor has implemented many solutions to ensure that trade union activities are maintained smoothly.
Immediately after the guidance of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, under the close direction of Hung Yen province, the Provincial Federation of Labor has reviewed and reorganized the trade union apparatus, proactively assigned specific and clear tasks to each professional department and individual, ensuring that trade union activities are maintained smoothly in the direction of both stability of organization and good performance of functions and tasks of caring for, representing, and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers.
For the team of union officials from Thai Binh province (old) to the Administrative Center of Hung Yen province, they are all ready to work effectively and show high determination. After the merger, the reassignment of cadres was flexibly implemented by the Provincial Federation of Labor. The transfer and appointment are considered reasonably according to their capacity and strengths.

According to Ms. Do Thi Huong, the Provincial Federation of Labor has thoroughly grasped the professional departments and union officials to review each thematic area and each specific field to closely and promptly monitor the activities of grassroots trade unions. Before merging the province, some union officials applied for job transfer. To ensure smooth union activities, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor has reported to superiors to receive and appoint cadres and civil servants in other units who submitted applications to the Provincial Federation of Labor for work, ensuring that they are suitable for their abilities, strengths and job positions according to regulations - Ms. Huong said.
Although the Trade Union organization has changed in model and scale, the team of trade union cadres still maintains a sense of responsibility, flexibly adapting to new requirements, determined to complete assigned tasks well, ensuring good implementation of the task of caring for and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of employees.
Ms. Do Thi Huong informed that currently, due to the end of the activities of the trade union at the grassroots level, the number of trade union organizations under the Provincial Federation of Labor is very large, the implementation of professional tasks of the Provincial Federation of Labor is facing many difficulties, so the Provincial Federation of Labor is focusing on developing a Project to establish commune and ward trade unions according to the direction of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to report to the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the Provincial Party Committee for decision according to regulations.
In the coming time, the Provincial Federation of Labor will focus on the work of establishing grassroots unions and developing union members, while developing regulations for coordination with relevant sectors and units to make the activities of the Trade Union organization more effective.
Although the work of arranging the organizational apparatus has many tasks, the task of organizing activities to care for the material and spiritual life of employees at all levels of the province's trade unions is always a continuous activity of the organization. Along with that, the propaganda work to union members and employees about the organization has been implemented by trade unions at all levels to create consensus and stabilize the ideology of union members and employees.
According to Ms. Huong, improving the quality of trade union activities not only contributes to better protecting rights but also helps strengthen the trust of union members and employees, build harmonious and stable labor relations, towards the goal of sustainable development of enterprises and society.
